What Is Newborn Jaundice?

Newborn jaundice occurs when bilirubin levels are elevated, leading to yellowing of the skin and eyes. While common, it requires timely intervention to prevent complications.

Traditionally, this has meant hospitalization—but Dallas families now have a safe, supported alternative: treatment at home.

Clinical Evidence

In a 2023 randomized controlled trial (Clinical Pediatrics, DOI 10.1177/00099228231190120), Skylife phototherapy achieved significantly faster bilirubin reduction compared with conventional blanket therapy, with no adverse events reported.
Researchers concluded that its higher irradiance and uniform coverage allow shorter, safer treatment times—making it a trusted alternative to hospital-based care.

“We are transforming hospital-level neonatal care into a seamless, in-home experience where mothers feel supported, babies thrive, and wellness is treated as a birthright, not an afterthought.”

Discontinuation & Follow-Up
